Im Jayde, im originally from a small town in central Alberta and am now proudly serving our Island community. My specialty is creating natural and organic looking colours.

I know how important self care is, and in everyones busy lives, finding the time to put yourself first can be challenging. I want your experience to be an escape, where you can truly relax and be yourself. I always want you leaving feeling refreshed, recharged, empowered, and confident.

The time you spend in my chair is 100% YOUR time, wether you want a silent appointment to unwind, or you want to catch up from our last visit, or maybe you need to get some work done, the time in my chair will always be yours to spend.
​
You know how they say "if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life?" Well that quote completely encapsulates how I feel. I have been a stylist for 10 years and I am still just as in love with my craft as I was day one. Over the years I began to specialize in balayage, a way of hand painting the hair to mimic where the sun would naturally lighten. Living on the island I am always looking to nature for inspiration. I see the natural beauty in everyone and everything and I have made it my job to enhance the beauty that's already there, not change it.

Along with my passion for hair comes my passion for learning. Throughout my 10 years of being a hairstylist I have been so fortunate to be able to travel throughout Canada and U.S for advanced education classes. My most recent travels being to Oahu, Hawaii for a luxury surf balayage class. The beauty industry is ever changing and I'm always excited for what the next trend or technique will be.
Its so important to me as your stylist to work with you as a team, I want to create something for you that is going to work for your lifestyle and budget, and something that ensures your hair stays healthy and beautiful between sessions and after you leave the salon.

When I'm not behind the chair you can find me at the ocean or in the forest. I love spending time on the west coast of the island, exploring, camping & surfing. I also love hitting up the slopes at Mt.Washington for snowboarding in the winter months. I am truly in awe of Vancouver Island and all the beauty and adventure it offers.
